5K Walk-a-thon

It's not ever day we are asked to walk 3 miles. Our cause is different. It's close to home and affects the overall well being of the children of our community. A functional playground is important. It helps the children socially as well as physically. Our member driven 5K Walk-a-thon is much more than a test of endurance, its a show of solidarity. Please join us Saturday May 30th at 8am in front of The Old Golf Shack. Walk, run, or motorize the route at your own pace. Stop when you need to stop. This event is more than a competition. It is a belief in a common cause that needs our attention. For only $20 per person you are helping us reach our goal for a new children's playground! Registration includes an official Walk-a-thon T-shirt, box lunch, and a medal showing your support. See you at the starting line!!
